Obiettivo principale del nostro lavoro rimane, dunque, quello di dare conto del rapporto intellettuale e dell'intima amicizia tra Francesco Fiorentino e Marianna Bacinetti-Florenzi. Eravamo e siamo consci che, salvo brevi e mirate incursioni, nel corso del Novecento, da parte di vari autori, in nessun lavoro si è tentato, di affrontare in modo esaustivo i rapporti di M.
