Nice reading copy of Vega Books #VSF-6, the first US edition of a novel which was originally published in 1962 by Badger Books in the UK under their house pseudonym "John E. Muller". Per the Internet SF Database, the actual author is John S. Glasby. This book is in good+ condition, marred by a vertical crease near the center of the front cover, wear on the left edge of the front cover, a very shallow crease in the spine, and light wear on cover edges and corners. Its binding is sound and square. Covers and pages are unmarked, with some light age toning. As with all Space Age Book purchases, I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description. Bibliographic note: as noted by the Internet SF Database, this US edition has no copyright page, and its publication year is unknown. Other Vega Books editions of Badger novels were printed the year after the UK release, so guessing this edition was published in 1963.

There is some chipping and tearing along the edges of the spine and the text block is detached at the front and also split into three parts unfortunately with the final section still attached to the covers at the back. The front cover has a one inch patch of surface tearing near the top right corner and the back cover has two small but heavy surface dents. Otherwise the covers have only some edge wear. Page edges browned and the pages are browned but otherwise clean and unmarked. Contains 'The Others' by Gridban (Fearn), 'The Inevitable Conflict (Part 3 of 3)' by Tubb, 'Ugly Duckling' by Hansby (Glasby), 'The Master Mind' by Statten (Fearn),' Omega' by Harris and 'Hollister and Me' by Hind.
