Spoiler alert: Ron Nessen appears in the book. Vic Gold had been, to use one of his heavily used terms, a flack himself, including service as Press Secretary for disgraced Vice President Spiro "Nattering Nabobs of Negativism" Agnew, before becoming an acerbic correspondent for Washingtonian magazine. Inscribed by Vic Gold to Ron Nessen on a note card that's affixed to the front endpaper. ("To Ron Nessen, a fellow refugee from the snake pit with warm best regards, Vic G.") 251 pages. Has highlighted passages on about 20 pages and a handwritten note on one page. Signed by Author(s).
