Soft cover. Condizione: Very Good. A very good clean tight copy of this well-illustrated book; 84 photographs, 2 to a page, of lines and stock mostly no longer existing. Slight rubbing to spine. This appears to have been the author's proof copy. The words 'proof copy are neatly written on the top corner of the front endpaper, and some 10 pages at each end of the book have had very small numbers written next to them, which were missing in the proof copy. The photograph on the front cover, appearing also inside the book, has this number written on the original photograph. These small points do not much affect the interest of this collection of historic and evocative photographs from this formerly very busy railway area.…
