Hardcover. Condizione: Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. First edition. Tall octavo. 435pp. Foreword by Edwin G. Boring. Illustrated in black and white. Ownership stamp and signature of a noted American psychologist on the front fly, else just about fine in a very good, lightly toned (a bit more at the spine) dustwrapper with several nicks along the edges and a tiny hole at the spine. With a collegial 1955 typed letter signed laid in from noted psychologist Ward Edwards, recommending this book to the psychologist mentioned above, who had written Edwards to request his offprint on pain perception: "Although I disagree with many of the things it says, I still consider it the best source I know of for information about pain perception."
