First edition in this format, following the original edition by Malcolm McGregor in 1985. Stapled wraps with treated and canvas textured paper, with twelve amazing reproductions, mostly of Maori tribespeople. Biograhy of Lindauer, with full page color reproductins of his art, and lengthy commentary on each reproduced painting, which include a self portrait but mostly depict Maori lifeways, tattoos and clothing. 52 pp. Art, Painting, Portraits, Maori Tribes, Anthrpology.
