Com o aparecimento de novos esquemas e instituições de fundos mútuos no mercado, os inve…stidores ficaram confusos na seleção dos fundos mútuos e não estão sensibilizados para as várias novas agências reguladoras dos fundos mútuos. É importante estudar o comportamento de procura de informação de investimento dos investidores em fundos mútuos, para descobrir o nível de consciencialização e satisfação dos investidores em relação às agências reguladoras e de governação dos fundos mútuos. O estudo sugeriu que a regulamentação da indústria dos fundos mútuos deve assegurar a transparência e rever regularmente a indústria para proteger os pequenos investidores e aumentar os níveis de consciencialização dos investidores.
