Darauf antwortete Grammlich in Halle mit der vorliegenden Defensio Dissertationis suae de Illicito Concubinatu (1714), in der er ausdrücklich seine eigene Konkubinats-Dissertation gegen die Schrift des Antoninus verteidigt; in der Widmung dankt er erneut Johann Wolfgang Jäger, womit die Verbindung zur Tübinger Disputation bezeugt ist.
