About Very Good, and scarce in even this condition. Moderate peripheral wear to the binding, a few small cover spots (scan), age-toning to the pages within, and, long ago, early owner Elizabeth M. Thorp of Mynderse Academy lightly signed the ffep and made a few light notation on late pages. Mynderse Academy is a high school in Seneca Falls, NY, the town considered by many to be the home of the Women's Rights Movement. Collectible textbook, and scarce, particularly in better than good condition. Ships in stout protection, of course. LT19.

Stated second printing of the first edition. The book is in very good plus condition bound in blue cloth with title in gilt on the front cover, title and author in gilt on the spine. The top corners are rolled. Binding is square and tight. Pages are lightly age-toned, clean, smooth and unmarked. The dust jacket is in good condition with a 1.5' closed tear along the bottom fore-edge of the spine panel and smaller tears and chipping along the edges and corners. the original price-$2.00 is on the front flaps.
