Aggiungi al carrelloPaperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book probes the issue of continuity between kindergartens and elementary schools, analyzing ways to improve synergy. The author argues that a lack of continuity in the learning process is illogical and harmful to students' development, and calls for educational programs to be based on the principles of child development as identified by Froebel, an influential 19th-century German educator. The book discusses the common features between the two educational levels and provides practical guidelines for fostering organic continuity, including modifications to teaching methods, curricula, and supervision strategies. By blending the strengths of both kindergartens and elementary schools, the author suggests, we can create a seamless and enriching learning environment for all young children. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.

Vintage oversize borderless reference photograph of actor Gregory Peck as Brig. Gen. Frank Savage from the 1949 film, warmly INSCRIBED by Peck to camerman Albert Myers: "For Al - All good wishes and thanks - Greg Peck." British born Albert Myers, usually credited as Al Myers, was a camera operator and camera crew member in Hollywood for over 50 years beginning in the late 1920s. He is credited in 30 films from 1927 to 1978, and assuredly worked on many more films uncredited during that time. His credits include "The Virginian" (1946), "Carmen Jones" (1954), "The Man with the Golden Arm" (1955), and "The Defiant Ones" (1958). Based on the 1948 novel by screenwriters Sy Bartlett and Beirne Lay Jr. During World War II, a new commander takes over an air force unit stationed in England and whips them into fighting shape. Veterans praised the film as an accurate portrayal of their bombing experiences during WWII-unsurprising, as many of the battles and characters in the film were based on real-life people and experiences. Winner of two Academy Awards, including Best Supporting Actor for Dean Jagger, and nominated for two more. Shot on location in Ozark, Alabama, Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Oxfordshire, England. 11 x 14 inches. Good to Very Good, with chips at three corners, and a small closed tear to the extremities, and a two-inch closed tear at the left margin (see image). National Film Registry. Signed.
