Common sense is central to my approach, and so is compassion and so is a sense of humor. You will learn "How to manipulate your mother" and that "Spit happens". Each of the topics is covered in just a few pages, so you can choose what you need, when you need it. As a pediatrician and father for 20 years, I have learned to laugh at myself and to adapt. My approach to pediatrics is traditional. Having said that, I am willing to question whether our teaching makes sense.
