The House of the Menander is the large and spacious home of an aristocratic Pompeian family. Its excavation yielded a huge number of finds, including housewares, furniture, and tools in silver, glass, bronze, and terra cotta. The exhibition in 2003 put much of that material on display. This catalogue publishes that exhibition with beautiful photographs and includes information on the history, architecture, decoration, and excavation of the house. Text in Italian. Binding strong; text clean and bright, no markings.
