Condizione: Fair. Acceptable condition. Reading copy. Spine cover missing. Binding split in two places, holding by a couple of strings. Slightly dampstained along edges. (Odd Fellows, fraternity, philanthropy).

Embellished with numerous engravings of the emblems, etc." Green cloth boards embellished with gilt designs, somewhat dulled on the spine and brighter on the boards. front hinge split for much of it's length, corners rubbed through, spine lean and some light wear to the gilt edges. Shaken binding with periodic breaks, but all pages in place and complete. Foxing scattered through the text. Previous owner's name and date(from the year of publication/civil war era) on the front endpaper.
