The first title: A Treatise on Surveying, shows the copyright date of 1849 and contains 266 pages. The second title: Mathematical Tables, shows the date 1846 with 152 pages. There are also 11 large foldout plates in the rear of the book which are in good shape with the exception of chart 11 (see photo). PLEASE NOTE: this book is considered in poor condition because it is missing the front board and the rear board is barely hanging on by just a few strings. All of the pages are present, including the end pages, and the binding of the text portion is still very strong, making this an excellent candidate for rebinding. The exposed front end page does show residue from where some calculations are made in pencil and then erased. This is the only handwriting found in the book and there are no signatures or library markings. Paper is toned due to age and there is some spotting and foxing present.…
