Hardcover. Condizione: Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Fine. First Edition, First Printing. Guntrum's first novel is a humorous bibliomystery featuring Henry Nash, an autoworker buried under a mountain of bills, who thinks he's due a break, and Lilith Bright, a Mark Twain relative of a distant, uncertain sort, who's sure a newly discovered, unpublished Twain manuscript belongs to her. Nash decides to steal the manuscript and finds himself being chased through a New York City blizzard not only by Bright, but the FBI, the Army, some terrorists and a couple of insurance agents. Boards and text are clean and unmarked, tight and square. The dustjacket shows no more than a bit of of edgewear, no tears, no creasing or chipping, not price-clipped. Laid-in is a typewirtten letter, signed by Guntrum, to a New York literary agent soliciting the agent's services for the publication of Guntrum's second novel, a synopsis of which is attached to the letter. A collectable bibliomystery with an interesting bit of ephemera.
