Additionally stamped twice with Queen Elizabeth II's postage stamp and once with King Gustaf VI Adolf Bernadotte's postage stamp to the corners of the page. In very good condition with toning to the front and rear panel, rubbing to the crown and foot of the spine. On June 11, 1956, Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh arrived in Stockholm for their first State Visit to Sweden. The royal couple were greeted at the docks by King Gustaf Adolf and Queen Louise of Sweden, before the Queen and King Gustaf processed through the city in a carriage. During her visit, Elizabeth attended the State Banquet, the opening ceremony of the Equestrian Olympics, and the glamorous Amarant Ball, accompanied by Princess Margaret.
