Historical fiction set during World War II in Italy. Guthrie Wilson was a New Zealand writer, serving as an Infantry Officer in Italy during WWII. 278 pages, 5-3/4" X 8-1/4". Dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. Jacket has a 1" tear at the top edge of the back panel, with some creases adjacent to the tear, and also a 1 inch tear a the bottom edge of the back panel, with crease adjacent as well, small scuff mark on the back panel about 1 inch long. Cover boards have some mild edge wear at the tips of the corners. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Edges of the text block have a few small spots of age tanning. Not a library discard. Binding is tight and square. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
