The text has two small pencil markings, on page 115 only. The pages are otherwise unmarked, and remain remarkably crisp. Spine is tight and uncocked, binding sound. Book is square. Top edge and fore-edge show just a little discoloration and spotting. Corners are sharp and boards are straight. The tail of the spine is slightly pressed. Slight browning to the page edges. The front free endpaper has the name of the original owner along with a reference number - this was Jimmy Altham, a Life Fellow of Gonville & Caius College, and a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. The pages are slightly browned but are otherwise unmarked. The jacket has only very slight surface browning. First printing.
