Only three volumes of this Encyclopedia of Talmudic literature were published, written by Michael Guttmann (Guttman Mihaly, 1872-1942), a Hungarian Jewish scholar and rabbi, an eminent authority on Halacha and Talmudic methodology, the relation of Judaism to non-Jewish environment, and history of science. Volume 3, part 1 (NOT HERE) was published in 1924 Volume 3 part 2 (offered here) was published six years later, in 1930. Only volume 3 part 2 is offered here.

The only indication that this book is an ex library is the de-accession stamp on the front free endpaper. Apparently it was donated to JTSA and was sold off before it was even cataloged since the library already had a complete set. Encyclopedia of Talmudic literature of which only 3 volumes were published (vol.2 only), written by Michael Guttmann (Guttman Mihaly, 1872-1942), a Hungarian Jewish scholar and rabbi, an eminent authority in the areas of Halacha and Talmudic methodology, the relation of Judaism to non-Jewish environment, and history of science. Volume 3, part 1 and volume 3 part 2 were published in 1924 and 1930 respectively but is not here. Only volume 2 is offered here.
