Hardcover. Condizione: VG-. 1st Edition. See photos or condition details. Hardcover, thin hardcover flex boards found in red leather with gilt stamped text on front. The leather is original and untreated with scuffing and soiling present edges and corners show bumps/wear with the edges of the spine starting to fray (with the bot…tom being the worst) internal binding is good except for some pulling in spots. No signatures or bookplates present, no library markings. The only handwriting found is in the corner of the front end page where you can just make out where a price was once penciled and then later erased. This book contains nine different Farmers Bulletins, printed between 1904 and 1909. The first title page has a color frontispiece and this is often considered the title of the book, though there are eight additional title pages with one for each chapter. These are as follows: Farmers' Bulletin 287 - Poultry Management by G. Arthur Bell (c. 1907, 48 pages) ***** Farmers' Bulletin 357 - Methods of Poultry Management at the Maine Agricultural Experiment Station by Richard H. Wood (c. 1909, 39 pages) ***** Farmers Bulletin 236 - Incubation and incubators by Richard H. Wood (c. 1905, 31 pages) ***** Farmers' Bulletin 51 - Standard Varieties of Chickens by George E. Howard (c.1907, 46 pages) ***** Farmers' Bulletin 64 - Ducks and Geese by George E. Howard (c. 1906, 55 pages) ***** Farmers' Bulletin 177 - Squab Raising by William E. Rice (c. 1904, 31 pages) ***** Farmers' Bulletin 200 - Turkeys: Standard Varieties and Management by T. F. McGrew (c. 1904, 40 pages) ***** Farmers' Bulletin 234 - The Guinea Foul and its Use as Food by C. F. Langworthy (c. 1905, 24 pages) ***** Farmers' Bulletin 376 - Game Laws For 1909 by T. S.
