Attractive new hardcover binding. Minor staining. Ultra rare early or first edition. Additional scans available. Chaim Aron Kaplan was born in 1880 in Horodyszcze, White Russia (now Belarus. He studied at the Institute for Jewish teachers, Vilna and was the founder, teacher, and principal at a Hebrew elementary school in Warsaw. He wrote for Hebrew and Yiddish periodicals. There is no trace of him after late 1942 and presumably he was murdered, like countless other Jews, in late 1942 or early 1943.
