Durante gli anni della seconda guerra mondiale, Haimo creò il General MacArthur Cocktail, che divenne in poco tempo molto popolare. Nel 1945 fondò l'International Bar Managers' Association, anticipando di fatto la nascita dell'inglese USBG e dell'IBA. Da quel momento iniziò a concentrarsi più sulla formazione che sul bartending. Condition is VG+: extremely clean, binding strong & straight, pages creamy white with modest tanning, but completely unmarked. Slight rubbing to extremities & corner bumping, with a tiny, ragged chip to outer-lower corner of front cover. The copyright page shows 1947 as the most recent date. The red cloth covers with bright silver text and designs shows light soiling on the back. I have placed a fresh mylar jacket on this great old book. We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
