Condizione: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - This book studies Toeplitz operators on the Bergman space of the unit disk, focusing on two questions: when is the product of two Toeplitz operators again a Toeplitz operator, and when do two Toeplitz operators commute The first chapter presents the necessary background: the Bergman space, reproducing kernel, Bergman projection, Berezin transform, and Mellin transform.The second chapter shows that for harmonic symbols, the product is Toeplitz only when the analytic parts are Möbius transforms of polynomials of degree at most three. For quasihomogeneous symbols, products reduce to conditions on Mellin transforms.The third chapter proves that for harmonic symbols, commutativity occurs only if both symbols are analytic, both anti-analytic, or a linear combination is constant. For analytic symbols, commutativity forces the other symbol to be analytic. For quasihomogeneous symbols, commutativity gives explicit Gamma function formulas.The final chapters explore related properties and open problems.…
