Some scuffs, nicks and scratches to boards, moderate rubbing to extremities, corners lightly bumped and worn. Woodcut historiated initials. Moderate toning to interior, occasional very faint staining/heavier toning, light foxing and soiling in a few places, small repaired hole to head of title page not affecting text, early ink underlining and brief annotations (citations and cross-references) to several leaves. The Code is the restated code of law, the Digest is a compilation of legal opinions and the Institutes is an introductory textbook on the Code.
