This book introduces an integrated e2e QoS scheme which comprises control and management algorithms interoperating with network status monitoring as well as traffic engineering techniques to control and manage traffic distribution across a DiffServ-enabled network. This scheme is a main block for guaranteeing e2e QoS required for triple-play traffic (i.e video, voice and data) supported in next-generation networks (NGNs).
