Pp. xxiii, 462, frontis plate with tissue guard (view of Seoul), 21 illustrations, 26 plates and maps, plus folding color map at rear, bibliography, original blue cloth over beveled boards, with attractive gilt decorations and spine titles. A very attractive copy with no ser…ious flaws. Hinges are intact and firm, cloth and gilt bright and not significantly faded, slight wear to fore-tips, not really worn through, short pull-tears to spine-ends, with slight loss to cloth at head of spine (under 1/4"). Internally there is no owner's name or other markings to text, except for a tiny "#31" to the top corner of the title page. There is no loss or significant wear to the large rear folding map except for a large tear near where it is bound in. A superb copy overall. Quite scarce to find one in this condition since most are ex-library and heavily read.
