Three folded signatures (11 3/8 x 7 6/8") with original linocuts laid in; in stiff black paper portfolio housed in black cloth slipcase with black lettering and brown leaves on paper plates of cover and spine. Signed by Diane Wakoski on title page of first signature, by Hans Burkhardt on limitation page of first signature. The three linocuts are signed by Hans Burkhardt. Of this first edition of Husks of Wheat sixty-five copies have been printed on Arches Heavyweight paper by Patrick Reagh Printers, Glendale. Each is signed by poet & illustrator. Edited by Norman Tanis & coordinated by Herb Yellin. Illustrated with three linoleum cuts in variant colors, numbered, signed and dated by Hans Burkhardt in margins below images. Black paper portfolio with front wing loose and large chip at lower foredge corner, and some chipping along edges. Slipcase with some rubbing. Arches Heavyweight paper signatures and artwork fine.…
