Über seine Malerei und Graphik liegen zahlreiche Publikationen vor; der "Künstler am Bau", der er zwischen 1950 und 1958 auch war, geriet in Vergessenheit. Viele seiner Arbeiten sind inzwischen durch Umbauten oder Renovierungen zerstört. Einige sind übertüncht oder durch Wandverkleidungen überdeckt worden. Noch Vorhandenes, speziell in Darmstadt, aber auch andernorts, ist mittlerweile durch die Denkmalschutzbehörden gesichert. Die hier vorgelegte Bild-Dokumentation stellt eine Bestandsaufnahme dar.
