Copied annotations on every page of scene numbers, supporting character numbers (i.e.; "Parent #2"), and noting "Day" or "Night" on some scenes. Based on the 1979 novel "Fa…ther Sky" by Devery Freeman. Upon hearing their military academy is to be closed and sold in a year, a group of cadets hold an armed rebellion against their teachers in an attempt to uphold the honor of the school's long and illustrious history. Sean Penn's film debut and Tom Cruise's first major role. Set at the fictional Bunker Hill Military Academy, shot on location in Wayne, Valley Forge, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Untitled olive "Stanley Jaffe Production" wrappers. Title page present, dated June 30, 1980, with credits for screenwriter Robert Mark Kamen. 135 leaves, with last page of text numbered 134. Collection of 24 vintage call sheets from the 1993 film, here under the working title "Damages." The call sheets are dated September 21 to October 21, 1992, with all but one call sheet printed on the rectos and versos, and five call sheets with an attached leaf, noting scenes or a map of directions to the shoot. All of the call…sheets also note the day of "Rehearsal," "Pre-Production Photography," and/or "Shooting," i.e.; "1st Day of Pre-production Photography / 13th Day of Rehearsal." Two call sheets with manuscript marker and ink annotations of cartoon illustrations on the rectos. Aaron Sorkin's second screenwriting effort, a neo-noir about a newlywed couple (Nicole Kidman and Bill Pullman) who begin to suspect that something is wrong with their new boarder (Alec Baldwin), a local surgeon.
