8vo. Novelty book safe constructed from Ober's biography of Luther D. Wishard, holding 6 colour wooden clothesline pins, mounted on clothesline backdrop, interior carved out, title label and Bradley pin-up "Sheer Folly" mounted on cover (minor damp spots, edgewear), still VG exemplar. This humorous novelty book safe employs the pin-up cover art of a leggy young woman in sheer silk stockings and dress attempting to disentangle herself from a dog chasing the cat. Of course when opened the wooden clothesline "Pins" in bright colours, unclothed, were all that was to be found.
