In 1969, he wrote a set of notes on his translation of the Pentateuch and his theory of translation which provide a fascinating insight to his thought process. Translation of the Book of Genesis, the first Book of the Hebrew Bible, into English. Chapter headings in Hebrew, according to "Parashat ha-Shavua" [weekly Bible portion read in synagogues]. Otherwise, the book is in English only. Very minor age wear. Clean and tight. In English, with some Hebrew (see above). Very good condition.
