The story of an air race from London, England to Victoria, British Columbia, held as part of the events to mark the centennial celebrations of the province in 1971. Many of the short chapters are first hand accounts from the participants themselves. Illustrated with black and white photographs. This copy has been signed and inscribed to a previous owner by, I believe, B.C. Premier W.A.C. Bennett, and within by Air Marshal C.L. Annis, and race participants, Paul Gilmore and Grant and Jill Davidson. A scarce copy.
