Small oblong quarto (11.5 x 19cm). The last book produced by the Havells, father & son, before they in the year 1827 started work on Audubon's Birds of America. Engraved title & 57 hand coloured aquatint views on 25 plates, one folding. Publisher's engraved boards with imprint & price ('Coloured Twelve Shillings, Plain Seven Shi…llings'). The boards rubbed & neatly rebacked in calf, two 20th C. bookplates to endpaper, one armorial, the whole in a modern cloth slip-case with leather label. Vg.
