The author challenges the commonly held notion that immersion is the only valid form of baptism, arguing instead that the example set by Jesus and the teachings of the New Testament support a broader understanding of the sacrament. Through a careful examination of Greek terms and a consideration of the historical context, the author demonstrates that the mode of baptism is not essential to its efficacy, but rather serves as a symbolic representation of the believer's union with Christ. The book's exploration of the deeper theological significance of baptism invites readers to reflect on the multifaceted nature of this Christian ordinance and its enduring relevance to the spiritual journey. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
