Tall 4to. 5 x 12.25 in. [8 pp (unpaginated).], including 2 double-sided birds-eye panoramic colour plates of Seattle & environs sized 23.5 x 12.25 in., numerous colour text illustrations. Colour illustrated softcovers, cover art recto & verso by Robert Morgan (slight shelfwear, rubbing), still NF copy. First edition of this scarce Century 21 Seattle World's Fair souvenir in 1962, including birds-eye panoramic map views of Seattle as seen from the iconic Space Needle by local Seattle Commercial artist, Robert Morgan. Reference photos were shot from a helicopter by Hal Porter, birds-eye mapping solutions for the folding panoramas were calculated by Dr. Willis Heath, and John Campbell, and lithographs executed by Van Dyke & Brant Litho Plate Co. The discreet numbers are keyed to the text guide, and provide a striking visual snapshot of a Seattle radically changed 60 years later.
