First Edition. Limited edition color photographic poster signed by actors David Hedison and Brett Halsey in ink. Printed in an edition of 100 copies. David Hedison appeared as the mutant fly man in The Fly (1958) and Brett Halsey appeared in the equivalent role in the sequel The Return of the Fly (1959). The poster printed on glossy color photographic paper is a very striking affair showing scenes from the films and poster artwork from the film's original release. Very fine condition. David Hedison is well remembered for his starring role in the Voyage to the Bottom of Sea television series. He is the only actor to portray James BondÕs CIA friend Felix Leiter twice in the films, Live and Let Die (1973) and Licence to Kill (1989). Brett Halsey has appeared in such films as To Hell and Back, Lafayette Escadrille, Return to Peyton Place, etc.…

Hedison, David. Signed check, undated, preserves a personal financial document of the American actor whose career crossed postwar science-fiction film, network television, and the James Bond franchise. Hedison starred as scientist André Delambre in the original The Fly (1958) and became closely identified with Captain Lee Crane in the ABC science-fiction series Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, which ran from 1964 to 1968. He also portrayed CIA agent Felix Leiter opposite two different James Bonds, appearing with Roger Moore in Live and Let Die (1973) and returning to the role in Licence to Kill (1989). The check therefore supports research into Hollywood celebrity material culture and the surviving private records of a performer whose work connected several enduring strands of twentieth-century film and television. Hedison, David. Signed check. Undated. Printed or personalized with the heading "David Hedison" and signed in black ink "David Hedison." Unlike a publicity photograph or autograph produced specifically for an admirer, the check preserves Hedison's signature within the documentary context of his personal financial activity. The supplied description does not identify the payee, amount, issuing bank, dimensions, or date, and these details are therefore not inferred. Hedison began his screen career under the name Al Hedison and was already under contract to 20th Century Fox when he received the leading role in The Fly; his subsequent work in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea established his most sustained television role. Hedison's career extended from 1950s studio filmmaking through decades of television and later franchise cinema, giving even an undated personal document relevance to the material history surrounding a performer active across changing eras of American entertainment. His return as Felix Leiter in Licence to Kill sixteen years after Live and Let Die further distinguished his association with the Bond series. No specific defects reported; near fine. A signed personal document connecting David Hedison's private life with his substantial presence in American science-fiction, television, and James Bond history. Signed.…

Eight vintage front-of-house cards for the British release of the 1958 film. Provenance stamps and annotations in manuscript ink on the versos. Based on the 1957 short story by George Langelaan, about a scientist who is transformed into a grotesque, human-fly hybrid after his experiments with a matter-transportation machine go very wrong. A breakthrough hit for actor Vincent Price as well as director Kurt Neumann, although Neumann would pass away a month after the film's release. Basis for David Cronenberg's 1986 film, and its subsequent sequel, "The Fly II," in 1989. Set and shot partly on location in Montreal. 10 x 8 inches. Lightly toned, with neat pinholes at each corner, overall Very Good or better.…
