Die beiden Bände enthalten die Hefte bzw. Lieferungen 1-8 u. 9-16, jedes Heft besteht aus 8 Tafeln (Plates), zusammen demnach 128 Ta…feln. Die Tafeln sind durchnummiert, alle Tafeln sind komplett. Die doppelspaltig gedruckten Einführungen bzw. Erklärungen in englischer Sprache, wie auch das Titelblatt. Leider ist nur das Titelblatt des 2. Bandes eingebunden, alles andere ist komplett. Drei Tafeln verlagsseitig mit Handcolorierung (Heft I, Tafel 3 u. 4; Heft VII, Tafel 6). Der Einband stammt aus neuerer Zeit, eine professionelle Buchbinderarbeit, mit Leder-Rückentitel. Erhaltung: Die Tafeln sind an den Rändern gebräunt sowie auch braunfleckig, hauptsächlich in den Heften 1-2 u. 6-7, alle anderen Hefte nur gering oder minimal. Insgesamt ein gutes Exemplar. Sprache: Deutsch.
