Postcard. Condizione: VG. Real Photo Postcard of an outdoor Church Service at a Summer Camp at Hopkin's Landing, near Gibson's on British Columbia's Sunshine Coast. Hopkins Landing was a destination for Coastal Steamships. Helen McCall was an important pioneer photographer who documented life on the Sunshine Coast for many years. This postcard was dated by hand on the bottom margin of the front - July, 1939. There is a note on the back in pencil from someone -probably at the camp - asking his Mother to bring items to him. May be eligible for inexpensive Canada Post Lettermail to Canada, the USA and other Countries. Size: 5.5" by 3.5". Postcard.

Treatment Outline script for an unproduced film. Though we have seen further treatment scripts indicating that screenwriter Budd Schulberg at Selznick International studios also tried his hand at this script, the film was never made. The story centers around the lives of several women on the home front during World War I, following their lives through to the post-war period, and did not see production in this form-though it predicted several similar World War II pictures with the same theme made by Selznick International, such as "I'll Be Seeing You" (1944) and "Since You Went Away" (1944). Notable too for having many of the same themes that would influenced Schulberg's first novel, "What Makes Sammy Run?" in 1941. Blue wrappers, noted as DRAFT on the front wrapper, dated February 1, 1938, with credits for writer Mary C. McCall, Jr. 23 leaves, mechanical duplication. Pages about Fine, wrapper Near Fine bound with three gold brads.
