Hardcover, inscribed and signed by the author on the front end page: "To Andy Kelly - all best - always - to a doggone swell guy - Mark Hellinger, November 5, 1934.". Red cloth boards show quite a bit of spotting and soiling along with edging corner bumps/wear. Front board has chips to the cloth and dampstains are present on the fore edges. These dampstains have caused purple marks to be present on a number of pages in the beginning and the end of the book, and the worst seems to be at the rear end page and pastedown. No other handwriting found in the book, other than that from the author. No bookplates, no library markings. The stains are cosmetic and do not affect the readability of the book. This publication is a collection of 64 of Hellinger's 1920s columns as Broadway reporter for the New York Daily News. Signed by Author(s).
