Hellman from Irving's grandnephew, Mr. Irving Van Wart, and soon thereafter they passed into the collection of the late Isaac N. Seligman." Tipped-in, Vol.I ft.endpaper(foxing on slip&pages): "Presented by Mrs. Seligman in memory of Isaac N. Seligman from whose Irving Mss. these books were printed". All volumes have ft.pastedwn.slips reading: "Rosenberg Library/Galveston, Texas/Donated by Mrs. I.N. Seligman/30 Apr. 1920" -- ex-library w/all lib.marks (no card pkts.or check-out slips). This is unbroken provenance from manuscript form, through various owners, to publication, to donation. Unique copy.
