Hardcover - half-leather binding (English vermilion crushed sheepskin with red cloth boards of imported English buckram); red spine leather scuffed near heel with small loss to publisher's imprint lettering. Laid-in between pages 146-147 are LEC's pre-shipment "Number Ten" paper slip (which announces pagination as 320) and folded four page "The Monthly Letter of The Limited Editions Club" for January 12, 1953, Number 236.
