Hardcover. Condizione: Good. Quarto, 122 pages, contemporary publisher's cloth, lacks free endpapers, covering tissue leaves largely intact, some foxing, some tidal lines, head of spine frayed. Engravings done after such painters as Rembrandt, Durer, W. Hamilton, VanDyke, Raphael etc. 63 plates including the vignette title-page. This work also appeared in two volumes, each about 60 pages, apparently, although this is marked on the spine as Vol. I: the Huntington Library has 2 vols. in 1.
