Softcover. Condizione: gut. 2006. Andreas R. Batlogg SJ, geb. 1962, Studium der Philosophie und Theologie in Innsbruck und Wien, 1985 Eintritt in den Jesuitenorden, 1991 Mag. theol., 2000 Dr. theol., seit Juni 2000 Redakteur der Jesuitenzeitschrift "Stimmen der Zeit" (München). Aggiungi al carrelloFIRST EDITION. 1 blank leaf + TP + [III]-VIII = Vorrede + half title + [3]-184 + 1 blank leaf. Octavo. First Edition. The book was written in the form of a Platonic dialogue - the classical philosophical style where characters debate and discuss key philosophical ideas.Herbart wrote this lovely little book in opposition to Karl Daub's Judas Iscariot which was published the year before. Daub had preached about the existence of a personal Satan and Herbart insisted on a much more nuanced and sophisticated understanding of evil. In his exploration of that understanding, Herbert also examines and criticizes the views of Spinoza, Kant and Fichte on evil.Overall, Gespräche über das Böse is a rich exploration of the concept of evil, blending ethical philosophy, psychology, and educational theory and reflecting Herbart's lifelong belief in the potential for moral improvement through education and rational discourse. Contemporary brown textured boards with the author's name and the book's title gilt on a black field in the center of the front cover. With a former owner's name (W. Hemsen) to the top right corner of the front blank page. The title page and the final two leaves are lightly foxed. Along the inside edge of the first page of the Vorrede there is small red ink stamp ("May 13 1943PR") followed by the pencil notation "EBR Hg". Still, a truly gorgeous copy of this rare first edition of one Herbart's most interesting and engaging works. ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.…

Softcover. Condizione: gut. Beiträge von Friedrich Achleitner, Burghart Schmidt, Rotraud A. Perner, Tone Fink, Friederike Mayröcker, Helmut Jasbar, Elfriede Gerstl, Günter Brus u.v.a.
