Reglas de juego del Foot Ball reúne, de manera ordenada y práctica, el cuerpo reglamentario del fútbol, con apoyo ilustrado y comentarios, para que el lector (árbitro amateur, jugador, entrenador de potrero o simple aficionado meticuloso) no dependa de la memoria ni de la discusión eterna en la línea de cal. En el mercado de coleccionismo futbolero, estos títulos funcionan muy bien por dos motivos: primero, porque condensan una época en la que el fútbol se aprendía también en papel, con reglamentos accesibles y portátiles; segundo, porque la serie "El Ayudante Práctico" tiene un seguimiento propio entre quienes juntan manualitos técnicos argentinos/rioplatenses, tanto por temática como por diseño editorial (cubiertas gráficas, numeración de colección, impronta de kiosco-librería). Y el sello no es menor: Editorial Cosmopolita no fue solo un nombre comercial. La editorial se creó en Buenos Aires en mil novecientos treinta y nueve (en origen como Freie Deutsche Buchverlag), vinculada a circuitos culturales germanoparlantes antifascistas y de exilio; su catálogo y sus redes de impresión/circulación forman parte de la historia editorial argentina del siglo veinte.
