De plus, elle se produit dans le contexte d'une Europe qui consolide ses frontières internes, conférant aux migrants des autres continents un statut différencié. La présence latinoaméricaine en Europe provoque des transformations dans les sociétés européennes, qui n'ont pas encore été suffisamment étudiées et évaluées.Ce livre est une première étape dans ce sens. Il réunit les travaux d'un groupe de chercheurs européens et latino-américains qui ont commencé à étudier cette nouvelle vague de migrations latinoaméricaines vers l'Europe. Nous espérons, par ces textes, encourager de futures recherches qui contribuent à une meilleure compréhension des relations Amérique latine-Europe, à partir d'une de ses dimensions les plus importantes actuellement, à savoir les migrations.
