Pages have light tanning and moderate foxing throughout. Previous owner's inscriptions to front pastedown and endpaper. Water staining to page edges, text remains unaffected. Two thirds of p 171 and 223 ripped out affecting text. A few dog-eared corners. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with intense bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Light tanning to spine and edges with heavy tears to leather to spine edges. Paper worn away to edges. Front joint almost entirely split. Wear and moderate liquid marks overall.
