Clyde Walton Hill's (1883-1932) copy, containing his poem, "The Little Towns of Texas." Hill was a Dallas attorney, businessman, and one of the founders of the Poetry Society of Texas. He is perhaps most well known for the poem he contributes here. Also contains "A Valediction" by weird tales author and poet, Clark Ashton Smith. Uncommon and with a fine association. 25x17cm, 32pp. Contributor copy, signed by Clyde Walton Hill on the front cover and inside front cover, with his address in Dallas. Additionally signed by the editor, William Russell Clark on the table of contents. Publisher's illustrated, stapled wrappers, yapped edges. Some notes in pencil on front cover, likely by Hill, clipped newspaper review of the journal tipped in at rear with offsetting to final leaf. Wraps show some edge wear and rubbing. Very good. …
