Hardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Near Fine. Not a book but a 10-inch, 33-1/3 rpm Long Playing (mono, monaural) vinyl record, RCA Victor LPT-20, with red type on a silver label, near-mint vinyl in a near-mint cardboard jacket with minor age-darkening to edges of rear panel but intact and retaining its original gloss. The "Popular Collector's Issue" designation indicates the recording quality here is "not representative of RCA Victor's present day (1950s) high quality standards," meaning these tracks are reissues, having been originally recorded between Dec. 2, 1940 ("Jelly, Jelly," credited to band leader Hines & vocalist Eckstine) and March 19, 1942, for initial release on 78 rpm shellac. Also includes Ellington's "I Got It Bad and That Ain't Good," and "Skylark," credited to Johnny Mercer and Hoagy Carmichael. Both Hines and Eckstine were born in Pittsburgh in 1914. Catalogs $120; here reduced from $65.
