Includes maps of Quebec City, Martinique and Guadelupe along with others of European sites. Particularly interesting is a larger folding map of Luxembourg and Belgium by R. W. Seale with full original color. That map has been mended along several folds with no significant loss. See Jolly (Maps in British Periodicals I) 79-87.

Text block split, otherwise internally very good, with fore edges of two maps bumped from misfolding. 379, [5] pp., 9 maps. 12 plates (1 colored). Among the maps is A Perspective View of Lake George [on sheet with] Plan of Ticonderoga). There is also the Plan of the Town and Fortifications of Montreal or Ville Marie in Canada, and An Authentic Plan of the River St. Laurence . with the Operations of the Siege of Quebec. Other maps are of locations in England, France, and Germany. The maps have all been folded into the volume and are in excellent condition. See Jolly (Maps in British Periodicals I) 79-87.
