Neuware - Mit der Liberalisierung der Brandschutzvorschriften im Jahr 2015 in der Schweiz ist die Höhenbeschränkung für Holzbauten gefallen und die Höhenregelung für Hochhäuser durch die VKF neu definiert worden. Dadurch ergeben sich neue Perspektiven für den Holzbau in der Schweiz. Holz, ein Baustoff mit hohen ökologischen und nachhaltigen Eigenschaften, hat die Chance, sein Potenzial nun auch im Bereich hochleistungsfähiger Bauweisen und Konstruktionen unter Beweis zu stellen. Die dazu notwendigen Erfahrungen im Segment des mehrgeschossigen Holzbaus konnten in den letzten Jahren in ausreichendem Masse aufgebaut werden. Im Hochhausbau fehlt diese Expertise aber weitestgehend. Aktuelle Hochhausprojekte in Holzhybridbauweise in- und ausserhalb der Schweiz sind meist Leuchtturmprojekte. Es ist keine spezifische Typologie für den Hochhausbau in Holzhybridbauweise zu identifizieren und häufig kommt der Baustoff Holz in der hybriden Bauweise zu wenig deutlich zur Geltung.Vor diesem Hintergrund hat das Kompetenzzentrum Typologie & Planung in Architektur (CCTP) das vorliegende Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekt lanciert.
